COOi Studios provided comprehensive support during the Telkom Innovation Challenge, working closely with teams to shape strong problem statements, develop viable business concepts, and prepare compelling final pitches. The engagement was aimed at accelerating innovation by translating early-stage ideas into structured, implementation-ready solutions.

The project aimed to enhance operator ergonomics within mining cabins by implementing real-time behavioural monitoring and identifying design improvements to boost safety, efficiency, and performance. COOi Studios was engaged to conduct human-centred research and design, using advanced technologies to deeply understand operator needs and challenges in automated mining environments.

COOi Studios facilitated a two-day internal hackathon for the client’s Information Technology team, designed to support the Innovation and Transformation Office in fostering creative problem-solving and generating actionable solutions. The event combined immersive workshops, trend insights, and peer learning to drive a culture of innovation.
