The project was a strategic initiative aimed at streamlining and standardising UI/UX components across the client’s digital ecosystem. The project focused on improving design efficiency, fostering collaboration, and ensuring accessible digital experiences. The framework will served as a single source of truth for design elements, driving consistency across teams and platforms.

The client’s design landscape has been characterised by fragmented components and siloed design efforts, resulting in inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and accessibility gaps. Without a unified system, teams face difficulties maintaining brand coherence, reusing assets effectively, and collaborating seamlessly.
The project introduced a cohesive approach to digital design. By centralising UI/UX components and establishing shared guidelines in Figma, the framework enhances collaboration across teams, improves workflow efficiency, and embeds accessibility from the outset. The initiative also includes clear onboarding processes and planning for continuous evolution of the system.

•Improved alignment between design and development teams.
•Reduction in redundant design work due to reusable components.
•Enhanced user accessibility baked into the system from the start.
•Faster prototyping and product iteration cycles.Clear governance and ownership of design elements.
•Increased design consistency across Sasol's digital products.
