Our Experience

South African National Blood Services

The South African National Blood Services (SANBS) employs a versatile learning platform to train healthcare professionals (HCP) internally and externally. HCPs play a vital role in the blood services chain, necessitating up-to-date training. SANBS partnered with COOi to create a learner-centric portal, transitioning from push to pull training. The solution offers a personalized learning experience, content management, engagement tools (chats, forums, blogs, etc.), data migration, recognition, and system administration for both internal and external HCPs, ensuring a comprehensive end-to-end learning experience.

Life Healthcare patient journey

COOi Studios played a pivotal role in the pre-pilot phase of a Life Healthcare Point of Care Health solution. We collaborated with the Life Healthcare team to define project purpose, goals, objectives, and scope. Success criteria were established with input from all stakeholders. Administrative infrastructure for the pilot was set up, and technical expertise was applied to evaluate hardware, software, and service performance. Tools for documentation, communication, and metadata processes were developed. Data was sourced from Life, security concerns were documented, and prototype work sessions were conducted before customization and development commenced.

Free State Health Digital Strategy

To help drive the ICT strategy, COOi Studios also trained government officials about the Citizen of the Future, and what technologies need to be developed in order to serve customer’s needs. The training was also coupled with a technology educational zone, whereby the audience could learn more about emerging technologies, the zone showcased technologies in AI, IoT, VR, AR and 3D printing. Our capabilities demomstrated during this engagement include ICT visioning and objectives and Selection and prioritization of initiatives, implementation plan for immediate initiatives to be delivered

DSI, CSIR, RBIDZ

The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ) worked closely with Cool Studios to develop an Innovation Enablement strategy for the RBIDZ Techno Hub, positioning it as a catalyst for the growth of technology-intensive enterprises in Richards Bay and the surrounding region. The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research Technology Localisation Implementation Unit (CSIR TLIU), in collaboration with the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), had chosen COOi Studios to undertake a feasibility study aimed at formulating a business strategy for the RBIDZ Techno Park. This comprehensive strategy outlined a roadmap for nurturing knowledge and technology-intensive businesses by advancing technologies and services tailored to incumbent industries. Key activities within the project encompassed user interviews, the facilitation of design and validation workshops, and the development of a strategy guided by both local and international benchmarks. It also involved the refinement of Techno Hub zones and capabilities, recommendations for programs and partnerships, as well as an expenditure forecast.
