January 30, 2020The 28th World Economic Forum on Africa, from 4-6 September 2019 in Cape Town under the theme, Shaping Inclusive Growth and Shared Futures in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. One the strategic priorities to be discussed is Innovation: Readiness for the Fourth Industrial Revolution on the African continent. As COOi we are looking forward to contributing on this topic of innovation, and how we can contribute to build the future of Africa.
Under the theme, Shaping Inclusive Growth and Shared Futures in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the meeting will address the African Union’s Agenda 2063 regional strategic priorities under four programme tracks; Innovation-Readiness for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Cooperation-Sustainable Development & Environmental Stewardship Growth- Digitalization & Competitive Industries and Stability- Leadership & Institutional Governance.
The discussions will focus on key industries and build on the launch of the first African Affiliate Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in South Africa.

Sandiso, founder of COOi Studios, will be attending WEF on Africa on behalf of COOi. She looks to contribute towards the WEF Start-up programme and all other innovation related conversations.
