COOi Studios proposed a comprehensive upgrade to the South African National Blood Services (SANBS) eLearning platform by developing a human-centric Learning Experience Portal (LXP). The initiative responds to the need for flexible, self-directed digital learning—accelerated by the pandemic—and aims to replace the legacy "push" training model with a personalized, engaging, and modern learning system tailored to the diverse needs of SANBS users.
The legacy system was content-heavy and not optimised for self-directed, remote learning. SANBS needed a solution that was user-friendly, secure, and responsive to the evolving needs of its employees.
The solution included mobile responsiveness, content migration, learner dashboards, and support systems like Zendesk integration—all packaged in a modern UX framework.
